Australian Community of Child Photographers - Heartfelt
Some of you may know that I volunteer for an organisation called the Australian Community of Child Photographers (ACOCP). But some of you may not know that there is about to be an exhibition!
An Exhibition titled 'Heartfelt' is about to open to raise awareness for this very worthy cause. One of my ACOCP sesson images is included in the exhibition.

The Australian Community of Child Photographers is a volunteer organisation of child photographers from all over Australia. These photographers have come together to form an organisation dedicated to giving the gift of photographic memories to families that have experienced stillbirths, premature and ill infants and children in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units of their local hospitals, as well as children with serious and terminal illnesses.
We are proud to exhibit a selection of our photographs in order to raise awareness of the service we provide and to tell the stories of courage, heartbreak and hope of the everyday people who we are privileged to work with.

Strata - Wilderness Gallery Exhibition
The Wilderness Gallery has an amazing variety of exhibitions on display at the moment - a very curious one is Strata!
Strata explores the nexus between tradition and innovation using handmade paper as a foundation for modern photographic printing techniques. This striking group of collaborative and individual photographs is printed on a surprising variety of non-traditional natural fibres, handmade papers featuring lichen, mosses and collected endemic flora of Cradle Mountain. Strata evokes the many layers of life and reflects the way process develops through the need to communicate an idea. The nature of the process - unique hand made paper - means that many of these images are single editions!
Strata is open until the 17th of July

Getting Married?
One of my projects (well actually for the past year or so!) has been to incorporate wedding photography into my portfolio as a photographer. I thought I might share some images from my most recent wedding with you as I know this might come as a suprise for some of you!
In a way, having started out as a landscape photographer has given me a bit of an edge in understanding light and composition. Keith and Leanna are a beautiful couple, their wedding was a lot of fun and I know they treasure their photographs.
